WELCOME TO OUR DECK CAFE

A lovely screened deck where people say it’s a great place to eat, with the smells of home baking in the air. What better way to enjoy the area, then with a home cooked meal and friends. Everything is cooked in pans (no deep fryers) on top of a regular stove. The menu features home style hearty soups, salads, sandwiches on fresh baked bread and of course our pies (baked daily).  

The kitchen uses as much organic and locally grown produce as possible for this area and scrapes are composted and used in the gardens.

For travelers looking for a healthier alternative on the TransCanada Highway.

There are enough selections to make a vegetarian feel welcome.  You will feel good after a meal at the Birchwood.

The wifi (wireless internet) is accessible in the cafe.  What better way to check your email then with some pie and coffee at the same time. 

The kitchen is open from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.  The deck is open all the time for people who want to use it for the stronger internet signal.
